Depending on your electrical provider (ours was United Energy) the quote process takes at least 28 days (if your're lucky). For us it took UE over 2 months to provide a quote. (after many phone calls and emails)
The team that work at United Energy are very small and each person who works in that department have specific roles and do nothing else. For example: There is only one lady who does quotes so if you call up chasing your quote and mrs quote lady happens to be sick or on 'training' that day then tough luck! I think I made that many calls to them I could name each person that worked there. Yup all 5 of them.

So the process is
1. Request electricity provider application form for underground pitt
2. Complete and send/email form back (make sure you do it properly- any mistakes means you go back into the end of the queue)
3. Receive quotation back (this process takes the longest)
4. Complete another form to process payment (this takes about another 2 weeks)
5. Installation of pitt (this can take another month - weather dependant)
So all in all, plan ahead particularly if you have a site start date you are working towards.
